Hug, Werner Born 1952 in Feldmeilen/Switzerland; International Master 1971; peak Elo rating: 2475; World Junior Chess Champion 1971; Winner Swiss Championship in 1975 (first international Swiss championship). Played on the Swiss team in the Chess Olympiads twelve times (1972-2008). Broke the world record in simultaneous chess 1979 in Emmen near Lucerne (560 boards).
